The Compak K10 Fresh coffee grinder is second to none among espresso grinders. It features a large hopper which keeps baristas from running for a new bag of espresso during a morning rush. It also includes a completely redesigned doserless chute that drops coffee directly into the center of the portafilter. This is beneficial because it removes the need to groom and distribute espresso before tamping, improving efficiency.Grinding speed is also incredibly fast on the K10 Fresh. To grind a typical 14 gram doubleshot of espresso, most grinders will take up to 15 seconds. The K10 Fresh outputs 14 grams of coffee in less than 1/4 of that time (around 2.5 seconds!).The 68mm conical burrs in the K10 Fresh also last up to 4x as long as typical flat-burr grinders which saves time and money on maintenance. These burrs feature an auger which feeds coffee into the burrs to minimize the need to keep the espresso hopper over half-full. They also grind slowly with the 400RPM motor which reduces heat and static buildup within the ground coffee. This grinder will become an incredibly fast, efficient, and low-maintenance part of your espresso bar. It minimizes waste, improves bar-flow, and provides an incredibly consistent grind of any coffee that you choose to use it for.
